Your privacy

Operator: Atlas Digital Ventures, United Kingdom.

What we use and why

GigMap uses your account email and sign-in information to provide access, protect accounts and respond to support requests. Artist and venue profiles, photos and confirmed gigs are public. Private booking contacts, fees and availability are used to support enquiries and bookings. Your individual follow list is private; profiles show aggregate follower counts.

Messages and your choices

Following an artist or venue enables gig updates. Each gig-alert email includes an unsubscribe link. Booking-email preferences are separate in your dashboard. WhatsApp booking messages require an opted-in number, which you can remove in your private profile settings. Submitting interest in an enquiry does not confirm a booking.

Location and cookies

Sign-in uses essential session cookies. Near me asks for browser permission and stores a rounded location in a private cookie for up to 30 minutes; switching back to By time removes it. Coordinates are not added to share links. Mapbox provides the interactive map and may receive your IP address and map interactions. Embedded media and external ticketing sites use their own privacy policies when opened.

Service providers

Hosting and account/database services are provided through Vercel and Supabase. Email delivery uses Resend when enabled; WhatsApp uses Meta. Google supplies venue search and sign-in where enabled. Staff may use Anthropic to extract gig details from public venue sources and authorised submissions. Only use the submission service for content you are entitled to share. Providers may process information outside your country; deployment locations and transfer arrangements are managed by the operator.

Keeping and deleting information

Account and booking information supports the service while your account is active. Account closure removes owned profiles and private account records from the active service, cancels future performances and retains historical gig listings. Operational logs and backups can retain records separately for security, recovery and legal requirements. Contact us for the retention and deletion arrangements that apply to your request.

Application reliability

To find broken pages, we count application errors by hour, page area and error category. These reports do not contain your name, email, form contents, error message, stack trace or full page URL, and do not use tracking cookies or session recordings. We keep these counts in the active database for 14 days. A keyed hash of the network address limits misuse of the reporting endpoint; normal hosting security logs are separate.

Access, correction and concerns

You can edit your profile, change notification preferences and close your account in the dashboard. You can also request access, correction, deletion or a review of how your information is used. We may need to verify your identity. See the ICO's information about data-protection rights.
